About Us Gilmour Schoolwear are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions or comments please email us using the link on the store page.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to UK Sterling Pounds or your own currency.

We accept a variety of Credit and Debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Shipping And Handling Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on our website or through our telesales team.

To cancel your order you must notify us within seven (7) working days following the day of delivery.

Should you wish to exercise your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations your order may only be cancelled in writing, by fax or by e-mail. Telephone cancellations cannot be accepted. The goods must be returned in an unused and re-saleable condition. You are responsible for the cost of safe return back to us. We advise you take out appropriate insurance to cover the product during it's return journey.

If you are unable to return the product to us within seven (7) days you must contact us to arrange collection which will be at your cost.

Delivery Schedule Full ownership of the goods will transfer to the customer when they have been paid for in full and delivery has taken place.

All products are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible where any product cannot be supplied.

We make every effort to deliver within 10 days but where delays are inevitable we will endeavour to keep you informed. Goods being delivered abroad please refer to our delivery tariff indicating the delivery time.

GOODS MUST BE SIGNED FOR. The customer is solely responsible for inspecting the product upon delivery, and any damage to, or shortages in, a delivery must be reported to Gilmour Schoolwear within 48 hours of the delivery being made.

Back Orders If an item is out of stock, we will advise you of the expected delivery date of the item. Please make sure you have included your DAYTIME telephone number to help us advise you quickly of any problems.
Tax Charges There is no VAT charged on badged Primary School garments.

17.5% VAT has been added to all Secondary School prices. If you qualify for a refund please let us know.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encrytion. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

All reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure will be made, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

All prices include VAT where applicable at the current rate of point of sale.

Privacy Policy Gilmour Schoolwear do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy In the unlikely event of requiring to return goods to us please follow these instructions to avoid delay in processing your return. Other than as required by law we have no general policy of accepting returns.

a) When returning goods to us, you the customer are responsible for the safe carriage of the product back to us.

b) You should return any product in its original packaging along with all the related paperwork via suitably insured means that cover the full value of the goods. If you insure the product, the full value may be recovered. Please retain your receipt confirming the return. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for them.

Remittance Terms We will maintain published prices as long as possible. However, if unavoidable cost increases are incurred, we do reserve the right to alter our prices accordingly. We will inform the customer of any price changes before despatching the goods.
